Use of Artificial Intelligence at PeopleChat

On this website and in the PeopleChat app, we use Artificial Intelligence in several places. This notice summarizes where and how — as a central, easily accessible piece of information instead of individual labels on each image or video.

AI-generated Image and Video Content

Individual images, banners, and video material on this website — including the trailer on the homepage — were created wholly or partially with Artificial Intelligence. These contents serve to illustrate and promote PeopleChat; they do not depict real, existing persons or actual events.

AI Features Within the App

PeopleChat also uses Artificial Intelligence for key product functions:

• Text and Speech Translation — chat messages and spoken language are automatically translated by AI systems.
• Speech Output (Text-to-Speech) and Voice Cloning — translated voice messages and calls can be played back through an artificially generated voice, optionally in a form modeled after the user’s own voice.
• Automatic Image Recognition — for example, in the camera translation feature.

These functions translate or support communication between real people — the AI does not itself act as a conversational partner.

Legal Background

This notice serves transparency purposes pursuant to Art. 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Regulation), which governs the handling of AI-generated and manipulated content as well as AI-supported functions.
